These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Slashed website, mobile experience, applications, digital services, photo and video analysis services, appearance feedback tools, coaching features, account areas, content, reports, subscription plans, credit-based services and any related services made available by Slashed Limited. By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, uploading any photo or video, completing visual verification, purchasing any analysis, subscription or credit, or otherwise interacting with Slashed, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. The Service is intended only for adults aged 18 years or over. Use by minors is strictly prohibited.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, "Account" means a registered user account created through the Service. "Analysis" means any review, report, score, rating, slider, recommendation, comment, ranking, coaching note, visual impression, style suggestion, dating profile feedback, professional image feedback, photo or video review, or other output generated or delivered through the Service. "Company", "we", "us" or "our" means Slashed Limited. "Service" means getslashed.app and any related website, application, account area, digital content, human review, AI-assisted drafting, coaching, moderation, visual verification, payment, subscription, credit, reporting or support service operated by or on behalf of Slashed Limited. "User", "you" or "your" means any person who accesses or uses the Service. "User Media" means photos, videos, images, screenshots, visual verification videos, identity or age verification materials, and any other visual material uploaded, recorded, submitted or otherwise provided through the Service. "Output" means any Analysis, report, feedback, rating, text, recommendation, score, slider, note, suggestion or other content produced by or through the Service.

2. About Slashed

Slashed is a digital service designed to provide frank, direct and appearance-focused feedback on how a person may be perceived from photos and videos, including facial presentation, body presentation, clothing, posture, grooming, style, dating profile impressions, professional credibility, social image and related visual presentation factors.

The Service may include different feedback intensity levels, including softer feedback, direct and honest feedback, and sharper or more critical feedback selected by the user or made available by the Service. The Service is not intended to flatter, validate or provide neutral compliments. Its purpose is to provide candid, subjective and practical feedback that may help users understand possible first impressions and identify possible areas for visual, stylistic or presentation improvement.

3. Eligibility and adult-only use

The Service is strictly reserved for individuals who are at least 18 years old. By accessing or using the Service, creating an Account, uploading User Media, completing visual verification, or purchasing any paid service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

Minors are strictly prohibited from using the Service. You must not upload, submit, record or otherwise provide any image, video or other material depicting a person under the age of 18, whether alone or with others. We may request age verification documentation where we consider it necessary or appropriate, including where there is doubt about your age or the age of any person depicted in User Media.

If we believe that you are under 18, that User Media depicts a minor, or that you have attempted to circumvent age restrictions, we may refuse the upload, suspend or terminate your Account, delete relevant materials, retain evidence to the extent permitted by law, report illegal content to competent authorities where required or appropriate, and refuse any refund to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

4. Account creation, visual verification and identity controls

To use certain parts of the Service, you may be required to upload User Media, complete a visual verification process, create an Account and make payment. The visual verification process may require you to record and submit a short video using a phone or other device so that Slashed can verify, manually or with technical assistance, that the person submitting the User Media appears to be the same person depicted in the User Media.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, to keep your Account credentials confidential, and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your Account. You are responsible for all activity under your Account except to the extent caused by our failure to comply with applicable law.

We may request additional verification, including a new photo, a new video, proof of age, identity documentation, or other evidence where we reasonably suspect misuse, third-party uploads, impersonation, fraud, age misrepresentation, unclear User Media, technical issues, abuse, or any breach of these Terms.

We may also ask you to confirm that you control the email address associated with an order at certain steps of the ordering process, in particular by entering a one-time verification code sent to that address before payment.

5. Your User Media and your obligations

You may upload only your own photos and videos. You must not upload, submit, record or otherwise provide photos, videos or other materials depicting another person, whether a friend, partner, former partner, colleague, celebrity, public figure, client, employee, minor or any other third party, unless and until Slashed expressly introduces a feature that permits third-party analysis and you comply with any specific consent and verification requirements applicable to that feature.

By uploading User Media, you represent and warrant that:

• you are the person depicted in the User Media, or you are otherwise expressly authorised under a feature and process made available by Slashed;

• you are at least 18 years old;

• the User Media does not depict any minor;

• the User Media is lawful, non-confidential to any third party, and does not infringe any third-party rights;

• the User Media is not nude, sexual, violent, hateful, humiliating, abusive, medical, unlawful or otherwise prohibited under these Terms;

• you will not use the Service to stalk, shame, harass, humiliate, impersonate, deceive, pressure, exploit, manipulate or harm any person.

If we discover or reasonably suspect that User Media does not correspond to you, was uploaded without proper authority, contains prohibited content, or was submitted for an abusive purpose, we may suspend, restrict or terminate your Account without refund, refuse delivery of any Analysis, delete or preserve materials as permitted by law, and take any other action we consider appropriate.

6. Prohibited content and prohibited use

You must not upload, submit, transmit, request, purchase or use the Service in connection with any content, conduct or purpose that is illegal, harmful, abusive or inconsistent with the intended purpose of Slashed. Prohibited content and prohibited use include, without limitation:

• any photo, video or content involving a minor or a person who appears to be under 18;

• nudity, sexual content, pornography, erotic content, fetish content or sexually explicit material;

• content involving violence, coercion, self-harm, abuse, exploitation, blackmail, humiliation, harassment or non-consensual imagery;

• hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, threatening, degrading, bullying, extremist or unlawful content;

• medical images, clinical images, injury images, dermatological close-ups or content submitted for diagnosis, treatment or health assessment;

• photos or videos of persons who have not consented to the relevant use;

• deepfakes, manipulated identity materials, misleading verification attempts, impersonation or fraud;

• use of the Service to make employment, credit, insurance, housing, medical, legal or similarly significant decisions about another person;

• attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, copy, overload, bypass, interfere with or compromise the Service;

• using the Service in breach of applicable law, third-party platform rules or these Terms.

We may refuse, remove, block, moderate, suspend or delete any content or Account where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached. We are not required to provide detailed reasons where doing so may compromise security, moderation, privacy, legal compliance or the integrity of the Service.

7. Photo and video quality requirements

The accuracy, usefulness and completeness of any Analysis depends materially on the quality, clarity, lighting, angle, recency, framing and authenticity of the User Media provided. We may reject or request replacement of User Media where, in our opinion, it is unclear, incomplete, misleading, low quality, too edited, filtered, distorted, cropped, obstructed, inconsistent, unsafe, non-compliant or unsuitable for analysis.

Where one or more required photos or videos are unclear or unsuitable, we may ask you to re-upload or replace the relevant material. Unless otherwise stated, we may make up to two replacement requests for the relevant issue. If you do not provide suitable replacement material within the requested timeframe, we may proceed with a limited Analysis, refuse the Analysis, suspend processing, or close the request without refund where the failure is attributable to your non-compliance or unsuitable submission, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

8. Nature of the Analysis

The Analysis is subjective, opinion-based, probabilistic, contextual and non-scientific. It reflects the judgment, interpretation and perception of reviewers, coaches, experts or systems involved at the time of review, based on the User Media and information provided. Different reviewers, cultures, audiences, contexts, dates, platforms and personal preferences may produce materially different views.

Any scores, sliders, ratings, levels or categories are internal or user-facing tools intended to communicate relative impressions. They are not scientific measurements, objective truths, medical assessments, psychological assessments, attractiveness determinations, employment assessments, dating guarantees, compatibility predictions or assurances of social, romantic, professional or commercial outcomes.

You acknowledge that Slashed feedback may be direct, critical, blunt, uncomfortable or sharply worded, particularly where you choose or receive a more intense feedback level. The Service is not intended to humiliate, bully or degrade you. However, the purpose of the Service is to provide candid feedback and not reassurance. You are solely responsible for deciding whether the tone and nature of the Service is appropriate for you.

9. Human review and AI-assisted drafting

Slashed analyses are generated or reviewed by humans. Artificial intelligence tools may be used to assist with drafting, grammar, clarity, formatting, consistency, language quality, quality control, workflow support, moderation or future functionality. AI assistance does not remove the human-reviewed nature of the Analysis, but it may affect wording, structure and presentation.

You acknowledge that AI-assisted systems may produce errors, omissions, inconsistencies or unsuitable wording. We use reasonable measures to reduce such issues, but we do not guarantee that any Analysis will be complete, accurate, error-free, objective, flattering, suitable for your expectations, or aligned with how any particular person will perceive you.

10. Cosmetic, aesthetic and appearance-related suggestions

The Service may include suggestions relating to grooming, hair, facial hair, clothing, posture, glasses, makeup, tattoos, skin presentation, body presentation, colours, photography, dating profile presentation, professional image and, where applicable, possible cosmetic, aesthetic, dental, dermatological, surgical or other appearance-related options that a user could consider.

Any such suggestions are general appearance-related commentary only. They are not medical advice, clinical advice, psychological advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, surgical recommendation, professional medical opinion, suitability assessment, health assessment or statement of necessity. Slashed does not recommend that you undergo any medical, surgical, cosmetic, dental, dermatological or psychological procedure. Slashed does not assess whether any procedure is safe, appropriate, necessary, proportionate, legally available, clinically justified or suitable for you.

You must consult an appropriately qualified, licensed and regulated professional before making any decision relating to health, surgery, cosmetic procedures, dental procedures, dermatology, medication, body modification, mental health, nutrition, exercise or any similar matter. You must not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional advice.

11. Mental health and body image warning

The Service is not suitable for everyone. You should not use the Service if you are vulnerable to distress from appearance-related criticism, experiencing acute emotional distress, suffering or recovering from body dysmorphic disorder, eating disorders, self-harm ideation, severe anxiety, depression, obsessive comparison, trauma related to appearance, or any condition that may be worsened by direct feedback about your appearance, body, style, attractiveness, dating presentation or social image.

If the Service causes distress, you should stop using it immediately and seek support from a trusted person or qualified professional. Slashed is not a mental health provider, crisis support service or medical service. If you believe you may harm yourself or another person, you should contact local emergency services or a crisis support provider immediately.

By using the Service, you confirm that you have considered whether candid appearance-related feedback is appropriate for you and that you are responsible for your decision to use the Service.

12. Dating, social and professional image features

The Service may provide feedback intended to help users improve dating profile presentation, including photos, profile selection, perceived attractiveness, perceived seriousness, perceived confidence, perceived approachability, styling, bio presentation and platform-specific impressions for services such as Tinder, Hinge, Bumble or similar platforms. Such platforms are third-party services and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or controlled by Slashed unless expressly stated.

Slashed does not guarantee matches, dates, relationships, replies, conversion rates, professional opportunities, sales, bookings, followers, credibility, reputation, career advancement or any other outcome. You are solely responsible for how you use any feedback in your dating, professional, social, commercial or public life.

13. Coaches, experts and internal reviewers

Slashed may use internal team members, moderators, style experts, image consultants, coaches or other authorised reviewers to perform, support or review Analyses. Access to User Media is limited to personnel who require access for the relevant purpose, such as analysing hairstyle, clothing, posture, dating profile presentation, professional image, moderation, quality control, support, security, verification or dispute handling.

No public advertising, marketing or unrelated third-party use of User Media is permitted without your explicit, separate consent. Additional rules regarding User Media are set out in the Slashed Photo and Video Confidentiality Policy and the Slashed Privacy Policy.

14. Purchases, subscriptions and credits

The Service may be offered through one-off purchases, tiered analysis products, subscriptions, credit packages, bundles, add-ons, coaching products, promotional offers, app store purchases or other paid plans. The available products, prices, currencies, taxes, features, limits and billing cycles may vary by country, platform, device, account status, promotional period or product version.

You agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes and charges shown at the time of purchase. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play or other payment processors. Your use of those payment services may be subject to their own terms, conditions, refund rules and privacy notices.

Where you purchase through Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund handling may be controlled by the relevant app store. You are responsible for managing app store subscriptions through the relevant platform settings.

Subscription plans may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date in accordance with the cancellation method made available to you. Cancelling a subscription generally stops future renewals but does not automatically refund amounts already paid, except where required by law or by the applicable app store policy.

Credits, where offered, may be subject to specific rules shown at purchase, including eligible uses, minimum purchases, promotional conditions, expiry rules, account restrictions and non-transferability. Credits have no cash value, are not legal tender, and may not be resold, transferred or exchanged except as expressly permitted by Slashed or required by law.

15. No refund policy and withdrawal rights

Except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, all purchases are final, non-refundable and non-transferable. Slashed does not offer a free trial, satisfaction guarantee, cooling-off refund, subjective dissatisfaction refund, change-of-mind refund, dating outcome refund, style outcome refund, appearance outcome refund or refund because you disagree with, dislike or are uncomfortable with an Analysis.

Where applicable law grants a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts or digital content, you expressly request and consent to immediate performance of the digital service or digital content when you purchase, upload, verify, submit or otherwise request an Analysis. You acknowledge that, where permitted by applicable law, you may lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun or once digital content has been supplied. This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have where digital content or digital services are defective, not supplied, not in conformity with contract, or where rights cannot lawfully be excluded.

If we are unable to deliver a purchased service solely because of our material failure and not because of your breach, unsuitable User Media, refusal to verify identity, prohibited content, age concerns, payment failure, platform restrictions or force majeure, we may, at our discretion and subject to mandatory law, re-perform the service, issue credits, provide an alternative, or issue a refund.

16. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, interfaces, workflows, designs, templates, methodologies, rating structures, scoring logic, reports, text formats, branding, trademarks, trade names, databases, prompts, processes, proprietary know-how and all related intellectual property, is owned by or licensed to Slashed and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Slashed grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Service and your own Output for personal or internal professional purposes. You must not copy, sell, resell, publish, scrape, redistribute, train competing systems on, reverse engineer, modify, exploit or create derivative commercial products from the Service or Output except as expressly permitted by Slashed in writing.

You retain ownership of your User Media, subject to the licence granted to Slashed under these Terms and the Privacy Policy. By uploading User Media, you grant Slashed a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display, reproduce, analyse, edit, crop, moderate, verify, use and otherwise handle User Media as necessary to provide, secure, improve, administer and support the Service, subject to your privacy choices and applicable law.

17. Privacy, confidentiality and cookies

Use of the Service involves processing personal data, including potentially sensitive visual information. Our processing is described in the Slashed Privacy Policy and the Slashed Photo and Video Confidentiality Policy. Those documents form part of the contractual framework governing your use of the Service.

The Service may use cookies, pixels, analytics, advertising technologies, retargeting tools and newsletter technologies, subject to applicable law and your consent choices where required. Additional information is provided in our Privacy Policy and any cookie banner or cookie settings made available through the Service.

18. Suspension, restriction and termination

We may suspend, restrict, block, refuse service, cancel an order, remove content, terminate an Account, refuse a refund, or take other appropriate action if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, submitted prohibited content, uploaded User Media of another person, attempted to bypass verification, misrepresented your age or identity, used the Service abusively, infringed third-party rights, created legal or security risk, failed to pay, abused support, or otherwise acted inconsistently with the purpose of Slashed.

Where we terminate or suspend your Account because of your breach, you are not entitled to a refund to the maximum extent permitted by law. Termination does not affect accrued rights, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limitations, confidentiality obligations, intellectual property provisions, dispute provisions, or any provision intended to survive termination.

19. Service availability and changes

The Service is provided on an evolving basis. We may modify, suspend, withdraw, limit, replace, test, rename or discontinue features, products, analysis levels, pricing, countries, platforms, workflows, verification methods, AI assistance, reviewer models, coaching products, subscriptions, credits, cookies, integrations or third-party providers at any time, subject to applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with all devices, available in every country, available at all times, or free from data loss, delays, moderation errors, payment issues or technical limitations.

20. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and all Outputs are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Slashed disclaims all warranties, representations and conditions, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, objective validity, professional suitability, aesthetic outcome, dating outcome, professional outcome, emotional suitability or user satisfaction.

Slashed does not warrant that any Analysis will be correct, complete, fair, objective, comfortable, flattering, consistent with your self-perception, consistent with the views of others, or effective in improving dating, social, professional, commercial, personal or aesthetic outcomes.

21. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Slashed and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, reviewers, coaches, moderators, affiliates, suppliers and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, reputation, data, anticipated savings, emotional wellbeing, dating prospects, professional prospects, social outcomes, image outcomes, aesthetic outcomes or personal confidence, whether arising in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute or otherwise.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Slashed's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service, these Terms, any purchase, any Account, any User Media or any Output shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Slashed for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability; or (b) EUR 100. This limitation applies even if any remedy fails of its essential purpose.

22. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slashed and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, reviewers, coaches, moderators, affiliates, suppliers and licensors from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to your breach of these Terms, your User Media, your misuse of the Service, your upload of third-party material, your violation of law, your infringement of third-party rights, your misrepresentation of age or identity, or your use of any Output.

23. Complaints and support

For general support, service complaints, payment issues or account questions, contact hello@getslashed.app. For privacy, data protection or photo and video confidentiality requests, contact privacy@getslashed.app. You should provide enough information to identify your Account, the relevant transaction, the relevant Analysis and the issue you wish us to review.

We may require identity verification before handling requests involving Account access, User Media, personal data, deletion, restrictions, complaints or suspected misuse.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the Service, by email, or by other appropriate means. The updated Terms will apply from the effective date stated in the updated version, subject to applicable law. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

25. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, the Service, any Account, any User Media, any Output or any purchase shall be governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply in your country of residence, the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the Service, any Account, any User Media, any Output or any purchase.

If you are a consumer resident outside Ireland, you may have mandatory local consumer or data protection rights that cannot be excluded by contract. Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of such rights.

26. Language

These Terms are drafted in English. If these Terms are translated into any other language, the English version shall prevail to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
